Arsenal have secured a sponsorship deal with Paddy Power, despite previously being the butt of a joke with the Irish bookmakers.
The Gunners announced earlier this week that they had agreed a three-year deal with Paddy Power, who mocked former player Andrey Arshavin in a billboard outside the Emirates in February.
The poster said: "ANDREI. We've got somewhere you can put a shift in... Block D toilets. What's Russian for plunger?,"
Upon announcing the deal, Arsenal's head of global partnerships Vinai Venkatesham told the official website: "As we enter into the season, we are delighted to have agreed a long-term deal to welcome back Paddy Power as a partner.
"They are a respected leader within the betting industry, and our partnership will ensure Arsenal fans have access to unique betting offers when backing their team."
Meanwhile, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reiterated that he is "confident" the club will bring in new signings before the transfer window slams shut in 10 days' time.
