Barcelona stars become 'The Simpsons' cartoon characters

Barcelona reveal that a handful of their star players have been turned into The Simpsons characters.

Barcelona have followed Chelsea's lead by having the creators of The Simpsons turn a handful of the club's star players into cartoon characters.

Chelsea players Frank Lampard and John Terry were among those at Stamford Bridge to get their own characters.

Now, Barcelona have announced that 20th Century Fox have given Lionel Messi, Neymar, Xavi and Andres Iniesta the same treatment.

The Spanish giants revealed on their official website that they have secured a partnership with the American series to create a brand of merchandise.

Juventus and Porto are among a selection of other football clubs that have teamed up with 20th Century Fox.
