Former Brazil right-back Djalma Santos has died aged 84 following a six-month battle with pneumonia.
Santos, who was widely regarded as one of the best defenders in the history of the game, won two World Cups in addition to representing his country on 98 occasions.
The former Palmeiras defender entered hospital with the illness in January this year, but failed to recover from the condition before passing away in Uberaba on Tuesday.
In total, Santos featured in four World Cups for Brazil.
