Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has helped produce a comic book which tells the story of the Ivorian's career.

The book, which has recently been published in English following successful sales in France and Ivory Coast, is the first of a two-part comic titled Didier Drogba: From Tito to Drogba.

The story begins with Drogba at six months old and details how he went from playing in his Abidjan neighbourhood to representing the likes of Le Mans and Marseille before eventually moving to Stamford Bridge.

The comic also draws on the striker's national career with the Ivory Coast, which ended in August this year after he announced his retirement from international football.

Just over half of the profit made from sales of the comic, which is priced at £5.99, will go to the Didier Drogba Foundation.
