The teenage son of Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was forced to delete a tweet that appeared to poke fun at the Premier League champions' defeat to Everton on Saturday.
Jose Mario Jr, 14, posted a series of 'crying with laughter' emojis just minutes after Steven Naismith completed his hat-trick to give Everton a 3-1 triumph at Goodison Park.
After receiving criticism online, the teenager, who supports Barcelona, removed the tweet and insisted that the original post was not in relation to Chelsea's result.
Mourinho Jr tweeted: "I took the tweet down cuz people actually thought that tweet was directed at my dads match, I didn't know the score til it was already over, you lot need to think more before you start calling me names and think I'm laughing at my own dad.
"If you don't like my tweets don't follow me, if you don't like me don't follow it's quite simple, and get a life..."
Five games into the season, Chelsea are already 11 points behind leaders Manchester City.
