Manchester United coach Phil Neville will reportedly co-commentate on England's World Cup opener against Italy for the BBC in Brazil.
The former player has limited experience covering live matches from the commentary box, with just a couple of stints on highlight clips for Match of the Day.
According to the Daily Mail, the BBC have opted to use Neville's services for the clash on June 14, as well England's last-16 match should they qualify from the group.
Reports have claimed that Neville has been preferred to Mark Lawrenson, who will co-commentate on a number of other games during the tournament.
