Stanislas Wawrinka offers winning shorts to Roland Garros museum

French Open champion Stanislas Wawrinka offers to donate his distinctive red and white shorts to the tennis museum at Roland Garros.

Stanislas Wawrinka has offered to donate the shorts that he wore during the French Open final to the tennis museum at the tournament's Roland Garros home.

The world number four beat Novak Djokovic in yesterday's final to win his second Grand Slam title wearing the distinctive red and white tartan-style shorts.

The Swiss took the shorts to his post-match press conference, and told reporters: "It will be in the museum of Roland Garros. You will see my shorts every day if you want. Everybody talks about the shorts. I quite like them. Apparently I'm the only one."

Two parody Twitter accounts have been set up in honour of Wawrinka's shorts.
