Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal was reportedly involved in a street scuffle outside of a nightclub in the early hours of Friday morning last week.
The 27-year-old was missing from the Serie A side that secured a 3-2 victory over Roma at the weekend.
It is believed that the Chile international, who was widely linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer transfer window, has been fined around €100,000 (£78,000) by the club for going out partying.
According to La Stampa, Vidal got into a fight with a man and ended up suffering a 'violent blow to his back' during the altercation.
The midfielder has been a Juventus player since 2011.
