Leeds Rhinos star Jamie Jones-Buchanan has named his new-born son after Batman villain Bane.
The 31-year-old, who now has four children with his wife Emma, has opted for names belonging to fictional characters for all of his offspring.
"We are delighted with the new addition and he is sleeping well," The Sun quotes Jones-Buchanan as saying. "I came up with the idea and my wife had the final say, as usual."
The rugby league player's children Lore and Dacx are both named after Star Trek characters, while Kurgan was chosen from one of Jones-Buchanan's favourite films, Highlander.
