Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has insisted that he is a "very calm person" away from the pitch.
The Uruguayan international is known for his aggressive nature on the field, which previously resulted in him biting the arm of Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.
Although he appears to hold nothing back while competing, the 27-year-old has admitted that he often feels "embarrassed" watching clips of himself.
"On the pitch, I argue, I shout, I talk rubbish and generally do anything I can to get ahead," Suarez told FourFourTwo magazine. "I'm totally different. I forget about everything else, sometimes I'm a bit embarrassed by all the shouting when I see it back.
"Away from the pitch, I'm a very calm person. I maybe have the odd cross word with my wife, like any relationship, but that's it. Nobody in England knows the real Luis Suarez."
Suarez has helped guide Liverpool to second place in the Premier League table, four points adrift of leaders Chelsea with 10 games left to play.
