Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini and striker Mario Balotelli were reportedly pulled apart during a heated exchange at the club's Carrington training ground.
Images have emerged showing the Italian boss tugging at the 22-year-old's training bib and shouting at the forward, who was pulled away from his boss by a member of staff.
It is believed that the confrontation erupted after Balotelli launched into a tackle on teammate Scott Sinclair during a practice game, according to Sky Sports News.
The club have not commented on the incident.
