Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy has been denied bail for a third time as he faces charges of rape and sexual assault.
The 27-year-old was charged on August 26, the Frenchman accused of attacking three women at his home over a 10-month period.
Mendy, who is yet to enter a plea in response to the charges, has been given a trial date of January 24.
However, it has been revealed that Mendy has been refused the chance to serve bail until being due in court during the first month of 2022.
Mendy is alleged to have raped different women in October 2021 and August this year, while the sexual assault charge relates to an incident in January.
Man City have suspended Mendy for the duration of the investigation.
