Manchester United legend George Best was reportedly given the Christian name of Ronald when he was born.
The Belfast Telegraph has obtained the birth certificate of the late Irishman, who passed away in 2005 at the age of 59 due to liver failure.
The document states that Best, who also played for Fulham and Bournemouth in his career, was registered as Ronald Samuel when he was born on May 22, 1946.
Fifteen days later, however, the footballing legend's name was changed to George.
