Irish 'Herald' confuses Romelu Lukaku with Stormzy

Irish newspaper The Herald prints a picture of the grime artist Stormzy alongside a story about striker Romelu Lukaku.

Irish newspaper The Herald has found itself the subject of online ridicule for the back page of today's edition.

An article covering the news of Romelu Lukaku's impending big-money move from Everton to Manchester United was accompanied by an image of the UK grime artist Stormzy in a mock United jacket.

Herald editor Alan Steenson said in a statement: "Hands up, we got it badly wrong. Earlier, we made an error with a picture of Romelu Lukaku that wasn't him. It was Stormzy.

"To be honest, we are totally embarrassed and want to say sorry to all involved and our readers for the error. We will keep our eye on the ball in future."

Lukaku and his doppelganger have yet to comment on the incident.
