Manchester United decided to deliver their own personal tribute to the late Nelson Mandela by displaying a message by the dugout at Old Trafford.
The former South African president passed away at the age of 95 last week following a lengthy battle with illness, and tributes from figures around the sporting world poured in on Twitter.
Following yesterday's memorial service in South Africa, United decided to display a message saying, 'Madiba, the world will never forget,' prior to their 1-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League yesterday.
MUTV commentator Stewart Gardner tweeted an image of the tribute yesterday.
