Former Manchester United stars Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs have reportedly been given the green light to turn the city's historic Stock Exchange into a hotel.
The duo intend to expand their property venture with the Grade II site on Norfolk Street once they have opened the doors to Hotel Football, which is located next to Old Trafford, this weekend.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Neville and Giggs have been granted permission to create a 35-bedroom hotel, including a roof-top private members' terrace, restaurant and bar, as well as a basement gym and spa.
It is understood that the restaurant and bar will be open to the public, but only private members will be permitted to access the terrace.
