The wife of new Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal was reportedly spotted house-hunting in the North-West city ahead of the Dutchman's move to the UK.
The Netherlands boss, who will leave his role after the World Cup in Brazil, has been appointed as David Moyes's official replacement after the Scotsman lasted less than 10 months at Old Trafford.
According to the Daily Mail, in preparation for the move, Van Gaal's wife Truus has been looking at properties in Manchester's Alderley Edge area, where houses sell with an average price of £1.5m.
Rio Ferdinand, who has left United, and current midfielder Michael Carrick are said to have homes in the village, while Mario Balotelli used to live in the area during his stay at Manchester City.
