Former Manchester United manager Ron Atkinson has become the second housemate to be evicted from this year's edition of Celebrity Big Brother.
Atkinson was one of five celebrity housemates nominated for eviction this week, with the public deciding who would be voted out.
The 74-year-old got his marching orders after lasting 10 days on the Channel 5 show, but quickly admitted that his overriding emotion was one of relief to be out of a process he found boring at times.
In his post-eviction interview Atkinson said: "I'm relieved. There's a few in there that would swap places with me.
"When you are in there, there is not a lot going on. At times there is a boredom factor. Time drags on."
Earlier this week Atkinson was embroiled in a new race row after making an anti-Muslim joke to fellow contestant Danielle Marr, who was wearing a headscarf when he asked: "You're not carrying a bomb with you, are you?"
In 2004 Atkinson infamously lost his job as a pundit with ITV Sport after branding World Cup winner Marcel Desailly a "lazy nigger" on live television.
