Retired footballer David Beckham has revealed that his wife Victoria was more concerned with how his hair would cope in the Amazon as opposed to missing her husband.
The 39-year-old spent 12 days in the Brazilian rainforest filming a documentary called David Beckham: Into The Unknown.
Despite being at risk of facing snakes and insects, Beckham has stated that his wife, who used to be a member of girlband the Spice Girls, expressed more concern over his appearance.
"She was more than happy to let me go. She said, 'you should go'," Beckham told Channel Seven's Sunrise. "I said, 'okay, you are going to miss me though, right? But she was more worried about my hair than funnily enough than the snake."
The documentary will air on ABC1 on June 25.
