The eagerly-anticipated Lance Armstrong interview by Oprah Winfrey will be shown live in the UK on the Discovery Channel at the same time as the US broadcast.
The American cyclist, who was stripped of his record seven Tour de France titles after the United States Anti-Doping Agency published a report accusing the Texan of doping throughout his career, gave a "no holds barred" interview with the Winfrey yesterday.
The former US TV chatshow host tweeted: "Just wrapped with @lancearmstrong More than 2 1/2 hours . He came READY!"
The Discovery Channel will air the interview at 2am Friday morning and again at 8pm Friday evening. Reports have claimed that Armstrong confessed to taking performance-enhancing drugs during his career in the programme.
