FIFA is reportedly holding talks with football's top agents to discuss how to reform the practices of intermediaries.
The governing body is planning to introduce sweeping changes to present regulations and is seeking advice from the game's leading representatives about how to implement them, Sky Sports News reports.
Meanwhile, figures from all 20 Premier League clubs will hold a meeting this Friday to discuss matters including how to curb the influence of agents within the sport and prevent their fees from spiralling out of control.
The FA recently revealed that agents received payments totalling £211m from English clubs in the last year, an increase of £37m from the year before.
FIFA will bring in the agents for face-to-face discussions about potential reforms on April 20.
