Tyson Fury 'refused to fly, took ferry back to UK due to wife's pregnancy'

New heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury reportedly cancels his flight back to the UK in favour of travelling by ferry due to fears over his wife's pregnancy.

Boxing's new world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury reportedly refused to take a plane back to the UK from Germany due to fears over his wife's pregnancy.

The 27-year-old was due to fly home after inflicting defeat on Wladimir Klitschko for the first time in 11 years in Dusseldorf.

However, according to The Mirror, the boxer and his wife Paris opted for a 20-hour journey by driving to Rotterdam, where they then took a ferry to Hull before driving home to Manchester.

It is believed that the couple did not want to take any risks as Paris has suffered two miscarriages in the past.

The pair are already parents to daughter Venezuela and son Prince.
