World Darts Championship winner Adrian Lewis has revealed that he is considering wearing a 'Why Always Me?' T-shirt made famous by Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli at this month's tournament.
The controversial frontman displayed the phrase on a T-shirt underneath his City shirt after scoring against Manchester United, and Lewis has claimed that he may do the same if he gets jeers from the crowd at the Alexandra Palace.
The 27-year-old clinched the title last year but caused upset within the crowd when he walked off stage complaining that a draught was affecting the direction of his throws.
"I should wear a top saying 'why always me?'," The Sun quotes Lewis as saying. "I need to get a Balotelli top, what with wasp stings, drafts, bouncy floorboards and God knows what else. It always seems to happen to me. If I get a few boos, it spurs me on."
Lewis begins the defence of his title tonight in the first round against Dutchman Gino Vos.
