Andy Murray's golf course plans blocked by court?

Andy Murray could reportedly lose a £500,000 investment in a golf course following a conflict over planning permission.

Andy Murray's investment in a planned golf course has reportedly gone to waste following a High Court case.

The project by developers Longshot Ltd was initially given the go-ahead by Mole Valley District Council at Cherkley Court in Leatherhead, Surrey.

Now it appears that Murray could lose £500,000 after local campaigners won their case that the 'natural beauty spot' would be ruined, according to the Daily Star.

The developers have now been ordered to restore the site to its original condition.
