English actor Tim Roth has been lined up to play FIFA president Sepp Blatter in a new film.
The Swiss football figure, who has been linked to alleged corruption within the world governing body, will be portrayed in the film F2014, which is due to be released around the time of next year's World Cup in Brazil.
"The casting was well done," the Daily Mail quotes Blatter as saying. "Tim Roth was quite surprised to meet me but we have some, let's say, common qualities. I have to say it was a very interesting get-together."
French actor Gerard Depardieu is believed to have been cast as Jules Rimet, who is the organisation's founder.
