Michael Schumacher's wife Corinna has been photographed looking in high spirits during her first public appearance since her husband suffered serious head injuries following a ski accident almost seven months ago.
The Formula 1 legend was placed in a medically-induced coma after he hit his head on a rock while skiing off-piste in the French Alps on December 29.
There were suggestions that the seven-time champion would be left in a permanent vegetative state, but it was confirmed last month that the 45-year-old is no longer in a coma and has been moved from a Grenoble hospital into a facility close to his home in Switzerland.
During a riding tournament at Corinna's ranch in Givrins, Switzerland, she was photographed smiling and joking while posing for pictures and handing out chocolates.
Schumacher underwent two operations on his brain while in hospital in France.
