The family of Reeva Steenkamp have insisted that Oscar Pistorius's imminent release from prison has come too soon.
The Olympic athlete will be released in August, just 10 months after being handed a five-year prison sentence for the culpable homicide of the model.
A statement from her parents said: "We have forgiven Mr Pistorius even though he took the life of our precious daughter, Reeva. Our lives will never be the same.
"A person found guilty of a crime must be held accountable for their action. Incarceration of 10 months for taking a life is simply not enough."
Pistorius was cleared of murder but found guilty of culpable homicide after shooting Steenkamp through his bathroom door on Valentine's Day in 2013.
