Former England international Paul Gascoigne has reportedly revealed that he has had between £9,000 and £50,000 stolen from his bank account.

The 46-year-old, who recently spent time at a US rehab facility to battle his alcohol problems, is unaware how it happened, but says that he knows who is responsible.

"I know who did it," Gascoigne told The Sun. "I know how it f***ing happened, there were 23 hits in fucking two days.

"It was quite a lot of money. It wasn't that much. Fuck knows. I don't know. Website, internet, I've not got a clue."

Last week, ITV aired documentary Being Paul Gascoigne, detailing the former footballer's constant struggle with alcohol.
