Footage has emerged showing Rangers fans breaking into Ibrox to protest against the board's running of the Scottish giants.

A small section of Blues' fans were able to breach security at a directors' entrance and unfurled a banner, which read: "Rangers FC supported by fans, directed by parasites."

According to Sky Sports News, police were soon able to regain control and ejected the group of supporters, who had managed to access the stadium.

The footage comes after an estimated 600 Rangers followers protested outside the ground at the current ownership regime.

On Friday, South African businessman Dave King had called for an emergency meeting to try to dismiss the Gers' board.
