Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo spent Christmas in Miami to make "arrangements" to have a second child, according to a Portuguese television presenter.
The 30-year-old, who has a five-year-old son named Cristiano Jr, is believed to have been in the United States over the festive period, while his child and other family members celebrated Christmas in Portugal.
TV presenter Eunice Cristina Morais de Carvalho, also known as Maya, recently told Portuguese station CMTV that Ronaldo made the trip with the idea of expanding his family.
"Doesn't Miami ring bells with anyone?" said Maya. "Where's Cristiano Jr from? Cristiano Jr comes from Miami as everyone knows.
"Cristiano has repeatedly said he wants another child. Cristiano went to Miami to make arrangements for that second child."
Ronaldo announced in 2010 that he had become a father for the first time, but the identity of the child's mother remains unknown.
