Video: Formula 1 car catches fire in Russian demonstration run

The 2011 world championship-winning Red Bull Formula 1 car catches fire during a demonstration performance in Russia.

A Formula 1 car caught fire during a demonstration run in Russia ahead of the first Russian Grand Prix later this year.

The 2011 Red Bull was being driven by English GP3 driver Alex Lynn during the exhibition in Chelyabinsk.

However, mechanics had to be on hand with the fire extinguishers as the car caught fire while the 20-year-old was performing a series of doughnuts for Russian fans.

The 2011 model was the one used by Sebastian Vettel during his second world championship success.
