West Ham United chairman Karren Brady has insisted that she has no plan to take on a full-time role in politics.
The 44-year-old was previously tipped to become an MP for the Conservative Party, but Brady has claimed that she prefers working as a businesswoman.
"Westminster is not an easy place for women MPs," Brady told The Telegraph. "It's a bit like football was in the 1990s.
"It's far better to be in business and know what goes on and help, rather than sit in government and not see the bigger picture."
Brady also acts as Lord Alan Sugar's aid on BBC series The Apprentice.
