Jennifer Lopez pulls out of performing at World Cup opening ceremony

Jennifer Lopez reportedly pulls out of performing at the World Cup opening ceremony on Thursday.

Jennifer Lopez has reportedly pulled out of performing in Thursday's World Cup opening ceremony in Brazil due to unspecified 'production issues'.

The American singer teamed up with rapper Pitbull and Brazilian performer Claudia Leitte to create the official tournament song 'We Are One (Ole Ola)'.

According to the Daily Mail, FIFA officials have confirmed that Lopez, who was a judge in the last series of talent show American Idol, will no longer perform the tune during the ceremony.

Instead, Pitbull and Leitte will take to the stage before the opening game between Brazil and Croatia in Sao Paulo.
