Sean O'Loughlin named England captain

Steve McNamara names Sean O'Loughlin as his new England captain following the recent retirement of Kevin Sinfield from the international game.

Sean O'Loughlin has been handed the England captaincy by head coach Steve McNamara.

The Wigan Warriors loose forward takes up the role following former skipper Kevin Sinfield's retirement from the international game last month.

O'Loughlin will lead out his country during this autumn's Four Nations tournament, which gets underway in Brisbane on October 25 with a match against Samoa.

England will also face Australia and New Zealand, with the final scheduled to be played on November 15.
