Agen players this afternoon decided not to take part in a minute's silence before their European Rugby Challenge Cup match against London Irish, instead breaking the quiet to sing the French national anthem.
The French team took to the field just hours after Paris was devastated by a coordinated terrorist attack that has left at least 128 people dead and hundreds more in hospital.

While all European Rugby matches in France have been postponed this weekend, Agen's contest at the Madejski Stadium went ahead and as the crowd observed a minute's silence, the players sang 'La Marseillaise'.
"Inspiring scenes as @agen_rugby lead the minute silence by singing the French national anthem," London Irish said on Twitter.
In the end, Irish proved too strong and ran out 48-10 winners.
