Australia captain James Horwill has admitted that his side's scrum execution was at fault during their defeat to the British and Irish Lions.

The Lions secured their first series win since 1997 as they beat the Wallabies 41-16 in Sydney on Saturday.

"Once again they executed the way they wanted and scored points. We let ourselves down in the scrum," BBC Sport quotes Horwill as saying.

The Lions' previous triumph on tour came 16 years ago in South Africa.
