Brian O'Driscoll has described this morning's 60-0 defeat to New Zealand as "embarrassing".
Ireland headed into the match knowing they had lost the series after last week's narrow defeat in Christchurch and they were dominated for 80 minutes in Hamilton.
Speaking afterwards, Irish skipper O'Driscoll said: "That scoreline's a bit embarrassing.
"We knew we had to start well and we didn't. That's what the All Blacks do when they get a lead, they just play their own game and you're running after them for 80 minutes.
"We just made too many errors."
O'Driscoll admitted that Ireland were sloppy in the breakdown as New Zealand regularly made the tourists pay by turning the ball over.
He added: "They were very clinical at the breakdown today and we were terrible. That combination has resulted in 60 points."
The margin of victory is a new record for New Zealand over Ireland.
