Fraser Balmain extends Leicester Tigers stay

Leicester Tigers prop Fraser Balmain pens a new deal at Welford Road.

Leicester Tigers prop Fraser Balmain has signed a contract extension with the Aviva Premiership club.

The 23-year-old has made 15 appearances for the Tigers so far this season.

Balmain joins Graham Kitchener and Owen Williams in penning new deals at Welford Road this week.

"Fraser has been doing a good job for us, especially this season, when we have been without some of our more senior players in the forward pack," director of rugby Richard Cockerill told the club's official website. "He is improving all the time, and, as a prop, he still has time on his side to continue that improvement."

Leicester are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Harlequins in the league.
