Sam Warburton '"disappointed" by England defeat

Sam Warburton believes that Wales struggled to compete with England during the second half of their 21-16 Six Nations defeat.

Wales captain Sam Warburton has admitted that his team are "very disappointed" after losing their Six Nations opener to England.

The 2013 champions opened up a 10-0 lead and despite being ahead at the break, were unable to ward off the visitors' second-half comeback in Cardiff.

However, Warburton believes that Wales struggled to compete with England for much of the second half at the Millennium Stadium.

He told BBC Sport: "We're very disappointed, it's not the start we wanted. There's four games to go - three of which are away. But you can't win a Championship by winning three games so every game has to be must-win now.

"The second half we struggled to get momentum and it seemed like England were on top for large parts of second half. You've got to give England credit."

Wales can get their Six Nations campaign back on track when they face Scotland at Murrayfield next weekend.
