In a fantastic race, Australia dominated after S10 Katherine Downie swum a fantastic third leg and they finished with a world record time of 4:20.39.
Britain were in a battle with the United States, and Louise Watkin almost managed to pip silver, but GB had to settle for bronze with a European record of 4:24.71.
USA finished just up with a time of 4:24.57 and the next closest quartet to Britain was Spain, who were almost 15 seconds behind the eventual winners.
