England table tennis player Liam Pitchford believes that his partnership with Tin-Tin Ho clicked as they reached the last eight of the mixed doubles at the Commonwealth Games.
The duo defeated New Zealand's Tengteng Lui and Karen Li in the fourth round of the event in straight sets as their growing partnership continued to thrive in Glasgow.
He told reporters: "We didn't really know what to expect coming into the tournament, but we have clicked together, we're playing well and anything can happen in the quarter-finals.
"We have three matches and three 3-0 wins so it's been fantastic."
Pitchford has already won a silver medal at the Games in the men's team event.
