Janko Tipsarevic to make comeback in Houston

Janko Tipsarevic recovers from a lengthy spell on the sidelines to take part in the Houston Open.

Janko Tipsarevic will make his first appearance on a tennis court since October 2013 at the Houston Open next week.

The Serbian has been sidelined as a result of surgery to remove a benign tumour from his left foot.

There were once suggestions that the 30-year-old may be forced into retirement, but he will begin his comeback as a wildcard entry on the clay at the USA Men's Clay Court Championships.

Former world number one Leyton Hewitt will also feature, as will Feliciano Lopez, Roberto Bautista Agut, Kevin Anderson and John Isner.
