Defending women's figure skating champion Kim Yuna has admitted that she suffers from nerves during competition.
The South Korean leads the competition in Sochi following today's short programme.
The 23-year-old told reporters: "I am a human being. I get nervous all the time. It just doesn't show on my face.
"I tried to believe in myself and remember my practices. I thought if I do well in practice, I can do well in the main event."
Kim holds the world record for most points in the short, free and combined programmes.
