Great Britain's men's curling team have lost their second preliminary round game against Sweden at the Sochi Games, falling to an 8-4 defeat on Monday afternoon.
Team GB won their opener against hosts Russia earlier in the day, but could not replicate that form against a strong Swedish team.
The game was even to begin with, as neither team were able to take full advantage of the hammer and were level at 2-2 after four ends.
However, the Swedes, led by skipper Niklas Edin, claimed two points from the fifth end and then held the sixth to 0-0.
With their lead, Sweden were able to shut out David Murdoch's players and four points on the eighth end saw them take their second win from two.
Team GB take on the USA in their next match.
