Natalia Vorobieva of Russia has recorded a surprise win over Bulgarian Stanka Zlaveta Hristova in the Olympic final of the women's 72kg freestyle wrestling.
Hristova looked on course to improve on her silver medal from Beijing when she took the opening round by a single point.
However, Vorobieva pinned the world number one in the second to clinch the gold medal and stun the crowd inside the ExCel Arena.
Spain's Maida Unda and Guzel Manyurova of Kazakhstan won the bronze medal earlier in the evening.
