Report: Brock Lesnar to enter programme with Cesaro upon WWE return

Brock Lesnar will reportedly feud with Cesaro upon his return to WWE TV later this year as the company attempt to maximise the effect of the latter's eventual face turn.

There are plans for Cesaro to feud with Brock Lesnar when the former UFC champion returns to WWE television later this year, it has been reported.

Lesnar, who is only on a part-time contract with the company, is taking a break after shockingly breaking the Undertaker's streak at WrestleMania XXX.

His manager, Paul Heyman, has aligned himself with Cesaro, who is due for a major push this summer after rising in popularity and winning the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal at Mania on April 6.

It was anticipated that the Swiss superstar would turn face, but his pairing with Heyman means that he will continue to be booked as a heel for now, while showing fan favourite tendencies in the ring.

The Wrestling Observer claims that this decision has been made so that Cesaro can gain maximum impetus from a face turn when he splits from Heyman to battle Lesnar later this year, with the thought process being that he would get a greater rub from fighting a heel who has just made history.
