Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Fulham

Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League London derby with Fulham.

Arsenal can extend their Premier League winning streak to five matches when they travel to Craven Cottage to meet London rivals Fulham on Sunday afternoon.

As things stand, the Gunners remain five points clear of Manchester City at the summit thanks to last weekend's sensational 3-2 win over Bournemouth, but the champions can reduce the gap when they meet Crystal Palace on Saturday evening.

Mikel Arteta's side must quickly re-acclimatise to English soil following Thursday's trip to face Sporting Lisbon in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie, which ended in a 2-2 stalemate.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Marco Silva's men, who remain in continental contention in seventh despite losing 3-2 to Brentford on Monday.

Martin Odegaard

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: March 12 (vs. Fulham)

Martin Odegaard was left out of the squad to face Sporting in midweek due to illness, but the Gunners captain should have recovered in time for the trip to Fulham.

Kieran Tierney

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: March 12 (vs. Fulham)

Similarly, Kieran Tierney was also struck down with a virus ahead of Thursday's game, and the second-choice left-back will expect to fight off the fever to return to Arteta's squad here.

Gabriel Jesus

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: March 19 (vs. Crystal Palace)

Gabriel Jesus is now back in full training as he edges closer to a long-awaited comeback from knee surgery, but Arteta is understandably being cautious over his fitness, and he is highly unlikely to return on Sunday.

Mohamed Elneny

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

While Jesus is on track to return in the next couple of weeks, Mohamed Elneny is not expected to play again this season as he recovers from his own knee operation.

Eddie Nketiah

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: March 12 (vs. Fulham)

Eddie Nketiah has been struggling with an ankle problem for the past couple of weeks and has been absent from Arsenal's last two games, which leaves his chances of playing on Sunday shrouded in uncertainty.

Leandro Trossard

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: March 12 (vs. Fulham)

Leandro Trossard picked up a groin injury in the first half of last weekend's win over Bournemouth, and while the issue is not as serious as first feared, Sunday's derby should come too soon for him.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for this match.
