Arsenal and Manchester City are reportedly among several clubs across Europe that are scouting 15-year-old Danish midfielder Tristan Aldcroft Panduro.

The teenager is the current captain of the Denmark Under-16s side and has impressed scouts, doing so most recently in a four-team friendly international competition in Alicante last week.

Panduro scored for his side against Saudi Arabia in that competition and was a key player in the heart of midfield for the Danes, who went on to win the tournament.

The teenager is coming through the ranks at Copenhagen, but the Daily Mail reports that he is not expected to stay with the Superliga champions for much longer, with several clubs, including Arsenal and Manchester City, showing interest in acquiring his services.

The report adds that should the player make the switch to a Premier League side, another battle could begin for the teenager, as the England national team may consider trying to pry him away from Denmark.

Panduro is currently playing for his birth country Denmark, but he will be eligible to represent The Three Lions through his mother if he chooses.

Both The Gunners and The Citizens are renowned for bringing promising young prospects under their wing in recent years, with the latter establishing the lauded Elite Development Squad back in 2009.

Cole Palmer and Phil Foden are two of the players who graduated from the Elite Development Squad and have gone on to establish themselves as regular first-team players in the Premier League.
