Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah reportedly rejects "a number of offers" to cut short his season-long loan with struggling Fulham.

Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah has reportedly turned down a number of offers to cut short his loan deal with struggling Fulham before tonight's transfer deadline.

The 21-year-old moved to Craven Cottage on a season-long loan in August but has played just 34 minutes of football since Claudio Ranieri replaced Slavisa Jokanovic as manager in November.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Fosu-Mensah was approached by the Premier League's basement side Huddersfield Town about joining them for the rest of the campaign but refused. Aside from the Terriers, the player is also said to have received "a number of offers" to leave the London side.

Ranieri, meanwhile, said recently that Fosu-Mensah is free to return to Manchester United, although Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are understood to view him as surplus to first-team requirements this term.

The Netherlands international has been part of the United setup since 2014 but has not featured for the first team since the 2016-17 season.
