Report: Michael Floyd suffers broken fingers in pre-season training

The Arizona Cardinals suffer an injury blow with the news that wide receiver Michael Floyd has sustained broken fingers in training, according to reports.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd is likely to miss the start of the new season, according to reports.

The 25-year-old played in all of the Cardinals' NFC West games last season, alongside Larry Fitzgerald, and scored six touchdowns.

However, NFL Media claims that Floyd broke three fingers in his left hand in practice on Wednesday and is likely to miss up to six weeks.

This would rule him out of their week one clash with the New Orleans Saints.

Third-choice wide receiver John Brown is expected to pick up Floyd's workload in pre-season.
